Prostate cancer is the second most common type of cancer among American men, second only to skin cancer. In the United States, more than 3.3 million men are living with or have had prostate cancer, and more than 313,780 men are diagnosed with the disease each year. Join us during National Cancer Prevention Month for an informative presentation covering prostate cancer, including prevention, screening, and treatment options. Light refreshments will be provided.
Speakers:
Dr. Desiree Sanchez cares for patients with conditions and diseases of the male and female urinary tract and male reproductive system. She provides a full range of treatment options, including today’s most advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgeries. Dr. Sanchez was inspired to become a physician because of a lack of healthcare resources in the small central California town where she grew up. She knew at an early age she wanted to serve her community and help patients with difficult health issues.
Dr. Behdod Katebian cares for patients with a wide range of urologic conditions and diseases, including kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, elevated PSA, and cancers of the bladder, prostate, and kidneys. He performs both minimally invasive and robotic surgery, allowing patients to return home more quickly with less pain and scarring than traditional open surgeries. Dr. Katebian was inspired to become a physician after experiencing the compassionate, empathetic care his father and family received during his father’s fight with cancer. Today, he strives to provide his patients and their loved ones with a similar holistic approach.
Offered in-person and online (Zoom). Kindly RSVP so we can plan for attendance.
