Women living with and beyond cancer often face questions about screening and prevention. In this workshop, Dr. Guo will talk about screening options for gynecological cancers, discuss how often to get them, and cover early warning signs to watch for. This workshop will highlight the importance of gynecologic cancer screenings and leave participants empowered to advocate for their ongoing health and well-being.
Speaker: X. Mona Guo, MD, is a gynecologic oncologist and assistant professor at Keck Medicine of USC. She uses a comprehensive approach to treat various forms of gynecologic cancer, such as ovarian, uterine and cervical cancers. She specializes in minimally invasive and open surgical techniques for cancer treatment and also delivers chemotherapy. She understands being diagnosed with these types of conditions can be a stressful experience, and patients can rely on her for support and exceptional care.
