Workshop Description:
Cancer treatments can cause changes to the skin, hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes. In this educational demonstration, TC will share general skincare tips for sensitive, treatment-affected skin, and discuss potential skin-irritating ingredient. TC will also demonstrate a simple at-home skincare routine, including brow and lash techniques and safe makeup practices. This workshop provides general educational information and is not a substitute for medical advice. Participants should consult their oncology or healthcare team before using new products on treatment-affected or irritated skin.
Presenter Information:Â Â
TC is a licensed esthetician and has been a Union makeup artist for the film industry for more than 30 years. She is also a cancer survivor herself, and understands the skincare needs of people in oncology treatment. TC has worked with thousands of faces on set, award shows, and in the treatment room. She offers gentle, restorative skincare for compromised skin, with particular care for people in oncology treatment and beyond. Years of teaching makeup and working on major productions give TC both refined artistry and a warm, grounding presence with every client.
