Join us for a workshop on the lymphatic system and its role in breast cancer treatment and recovery. Learn how treatment can affect lymphatic function, leading to swelling and lymphedema. We will explore the benefits of lymphatic drainage techniques, strategies for reducing discomfort and swelling, and practical tips for maintaining lymphatic health. Participants will gain a better understanding of how gentle movement, self-care practices, and specialized therapies can support healing, improve quality of life, and promote overall well-being after breast cancer treatment. This workshop provides general educational information and is not a substitute for medical advice. Light refreshments provided. 

Speakers:
Dr. Chaux brings 20 years of a varied techniques and modalities she learned in Colombia, Spain, and the US. She graduated from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ in 2010 and is a student for life; taking classes and learning the latest techniques in physical therapy. Her certifications include Cortical Field Re-education Level 1, Functional Visceral Mobilization, Certified Yoga Instructor, and Kinesiology Taping Practitioner Certification in CA. She is also certified in Abdominal Hypopressive Level 1 and 2, which offers many benefits for both men and women’s core strength and health. Dr. Chaux combines physical therapy treatments, holistic healing, and breathing techniques to create diverse and integrated approach to improved health and wellness. In her free time, Dr. Chaux enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, and hiking with her husband, step-daughter and their golden retriever, Lulu.
