Workshop Description:
Join us for an informative workshop focused on the importance of sun safety and the early detection of skin cancer. Participants will learn about how daily sun protection habits can significantly reduce the risk of skin damage and cancer, as well as how to properly perform self-skin exams to identify any concerning skin changes or abnormalities. Empower yourself with the knowledge and tools to take a proactive approach to your skin health and overall well-being.
About the Presenter:
Stephanie Porter, DNP
Stephanie Porter, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Arizona, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2017. She has been practicing dermatology since 2019 and has a particular passion for skin cancer prevention and early detection. Stephanie is deeply committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care that aligns with each patient’s unique needs and goals.
