Workshop Description:
Radiation therapy is often used to treat different kinds of cancers. In this workshop, we’ll break down how radiation therapy works, talk about the possible side effects, and figure out ways to make those side effects less bothersome. About the Presenter:
Dr. Steven Lau is a board-certified radiation oncologist at Coastal Radiation Oncology in Thousand Oaks, Ventura, and Simi Valley. He earned his medical degree at University of California San Diego and completed residency at University of Texas Southwestern. He has received awards from the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR).
