Workshop Description:

Learning about cancer clinical trials is important for making good decisions about treatment. These trials help doctors find better ways to treat cancer. In this workshop learn about what trials are, why they matter, how they work, and how to join one. Talking openly with your doctor about trials and knowing the rules can help you make informed choices and stay safe.

About the Presenters:

Tiffani Gosha, RN, BSN, is COH’s Administrator, Clinical Trial Access and Affiliate Practice Referrals. In this role, her responsibilities include applying extensive oncology expertise in orienting and educating patients and families about clinical trials, cancer care, resource referrals, genomic and molecular testing, and financial impact.

Nancy Clifton-Hawkins, MPH, MCHES, is the Director of Community Benefit at the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center, and is dedicated to improving health equity in underserved communities.

Jantavy Amie Siprasoeuth, LVN II, is a Clinical Research Nurse at City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, CA specializing in hematological malignancies and clinical trials.
